We own a three bedroom condo on Navarre Beach and the insurance is pretty steep. We rent it out about half the time and rental income covers insurance, taxes, condo fees, etc...,plus more. We do not have a mortgage on the condo.

If you think that is a lot you don't want to have a house in South Florida.
