I moved the trap to it's 4th location about 10 days ago. Caught 5 Christmas night. That made the 34th catch for 248 pigs in that trap in just over 2 years. We set it the first time on Sept 13, 2015. We like to hunt the location it is on now, so I will move it off this weekend.
Plan on taking it back to the Pig Plot location and start hammering there again.
We have left the t-posts on site on the best places. That makes setting the trap up again easier. LOL
I was told the our club just had "Seasonable" hogs on it when we leased it. Well, 457 hogs later they are still seasonable! ALL SEASONS! LOL

Caught again this week. Small catch. 1 boar, 1 sow, and 1 gilt.
That made 35 catches for 251 pigs in that single trap. The trap is in its 4th location.

We have pig sign all around the club no doubt. But, we are not seeing pigs during the day much at all. I have shot 1 pig this season on a food plot. One of the members had a sounder of 11 come out about 5:15 one evening. He killed both sows and 7 little ones. Other than that we have killed about 5 more on food plots.
I would say our population is being held in check. No totally eliminated by any means but we are not overrun with them either.
