You’re a little left.
I may give that one a try. Any idea on the velocity? Somewhere around 2980- 2990 fps through interpolation. didn't have a chrono with me. I worked up from 46.8 gr in .2 grains increments. 47.8 gr had a .62" spread

I'd want that 130 ttsx moving a bit faster than that. Burning out at 3,150 fps and getting a 6" group for where I hunt and the shot opportunity rarely over 150 yards, I will stick with 2,980 fps and 1/3 MOA. I shot a doe Saturday at 40 yards with a 55 grain Barnes TSX .223 running 2,970 fps busted last rib on entry and busted off side shoulder after traveling diagonally 16" and bullet was under skin. Bullet weight prior to loading 55.1 grains, recovered bullet was 55.1 grains with the perfect mushroom. Accuracy, shot placement and right circumstance with adequate equipment is the key in my opinion.

At what point did I say sacrifice accuracy? I didn't You didn't, I was saying accuracy, shot placement and tool for the job was most important to me. That is why I use the .223 example, plenty of speed, plenty of accuracy and adequate tools for the situation. This .308 loading will carry 1,000 ft-lbs to 500 yards. Plenty for where I hunt.
