Me and buddy decided to hunt b4 we start chasing deer tomorrow. Started off crystal clear and made short work of our 4 specks. Fog rolled in and we proceeded to wear out the snows. Picked up a total of 29 geese and 3 ducks. We lost 7 snows. We ran out of shells at 8:00am.

Yes sir! I can't wait! I haven't been this excited about a hunt since I went to Florida for my Osceola turkey last spring.

It was crazy. After guiding 9-10 yrs at the club and think u have just about everything u have a day like today. Once the fog lifted I saw geese like I've never seen. There was 4-5 huge bodies in the area and as far as u could see it was geese coming n from the north. From Jennings to almost Lafayette u couldn't look n the sky and not see hundreds of them migrating in. Must be a heck of a front pushing thru. Still no ducks tho.
