Over the past few years a limited number of breeders have advertised and sold dogs they represent to be purebred Labrador Retrievers with a dilute or gray coat color—hence the term “silver labs.” The AKC has accepted some of these “silver labs” for registration. Apparently, the rationale for this decision is that the silver coat color is a shade of chocolate

Health clearances and certs? What Champions are on their papers? That’s not a bad price for pups with proven champion bloodlines...... I just assume they have championship blood in them due to pricing.

It's not lying to call them Chocolate. They are a chocolate lab just have a slight genetic glitch making them the silver color. How about y'all don't bust the man's chops. If you are not interested, move along. The market will set the price.

We have a silver lab. He is registered as a chocolate. We bought our from a family in Union Springs. Same folks?

My neighbor has one and paid $1200 dollars for him this this time last year from a guy in Arkansas. It is registered. He got him for duck hunting but his kids decided it was gonna be a family pet lol
