Posted this in the guns forum but thought I would ask the wing shooters. May do some trading and was wondering if these guns are comparable? I know some of the brownings and Winchester come off the same lines now but didn�t know which ones?

Both guns are back bored and really the only difference is whether you like the high receiver or the low one. I prefer the high one. I shoot an older 912 Franchi if that tells you anything.

I liked my silver but sold it and bought the A5 when it came out. I was a little worried about the wood in Arkansas mud.

I have hunted with my silver in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Canada for the last 3 years. I love it. I have a couple of Golds also, but take the silver 99% of the time
