Rcbs makes quality stuff. Course i think nothing of spending for componets. Kinda goofy how you'll read "What's the best load for X caliber cause i don't wanna buy 5 diffrent brands" Experimenting is half the fun.

They have a $100 rebate on purchases of 299.99 or higher. I'm real tempted to buy one if I can get it at 199.

What if it quits working after the first year? Sorry but I guess I'll stick with a balance beam. It might take a few seconds more but there's nothing to go wrong.

My balance beam scale isn't accurate and is super slow. I would quit reloading if I had to go back to a balance beam scale.

If there is anyone on this planet that would make it right... you can bet your last dollar it will be RCBS.

The times I needed something from them I felt like we turned the dial back 40 years and I was there talking to a man who sold you something and stood behind his product. What I needed... they haven't made since then.

Darn right. They are fantastic and the Chargemaster is a must have for reloading.

There's a thread in the big game rifles loading forum right now at 24hourcampfire titled "disappointed with RCBS". The guy's Chargemaster quit working. RCBS told him that after the one year warranty,he would need to buy another.

I can weigh the difference between two granules of any powder I've used on my Ohaus 10-10 scale. That's accurate enough for me. Maybe I just don't trust electronics.

I'm old fashioned and like my Redding balance beam scales. Tried a Lyman electronic scale a few years ago and it drive me crazy having to re-zero the damn thing constantly. Weight never would agree with my balance beam scales.

Chargemasters may be good, but I've also read many reviews with problems in multiple online retailers. Electronics will go bad at some point, and you better have a good balance beam scale when it happens. They are a must have tool for reloading, a chargemaster is only a luxury.

My ChargeMaster and GemPro250 shows a difference between one grain. I don't trust beam type scales from what I've seen.

If my chargemaster ever tears up I’ll go buy another one. I’m already ahead if I count my time as money

Midsouth has the Hornady version for 159.99 How's it compare to the RCBS version? Anyone using one?

If you are worried about the warranty try the Hornady Lock-N-Load Auto Charge it is a lot cheaper and you can get % off coupons, etc. It is only $169 at Midway I believe.

If you do a lot of loading these machines are a must have IMO. I've had my RCBS for years and it has been heavily used.
