Heck ol' timer, I'll drag 'em out of the woods for you, if you will put me in one of your kill trees. I mean it is the least I could do to help a feebile old man like yourself.

PM sent there Fuzzy Bunny.

My wife was getting worried lately about me hunting by myself to be honest.

Just getting hard to get around like I used to. Might be my last year hunting at this rate but Im going to keep trying. As long as I can walk to the kiliing tree..Ill keep a coming.

It Takes me about 45 minutes in and out now with my bum leg and having to stop to use the bathroom 2 -3 times on my way. Old prostate aint what it used to be either I reckon. shocked

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

It sounds like a good friend of mine but you'll have to be more specific as to where it's at. He's a lineman and hunts out of stands like that.He probably want to know who is asking to?

I used to hang a dummy stand on the national forest. I'd leave a few empty beer cans around on the ground under the stand.
It kept a lot of people out of my honey holes.

Nope junior, all those bucks are mine son.

If you were smart enough youd of noticed its the same old guy holding them bucks by the horns in every picture under them deer mounts son.

So whos the dummy?

And a lot of folks on here remember the story and pics when I shot em as I posted em here.

I been here a long time kid. Not just some new comer! Ive been here since you were just a twinkle in your daddies eye...

Id say you aint the one thats too smart there junior.

I dont have to go to the interweb thing to get big buck pics..those were all off my own wall son. And I got more, lots more.

Im looking at em as I type .

Now maybe thats how you get your big buck pics...

oh yea thats right..you dont have any.... rofl

never you mind there sonny. grin

You just go sit down there by my killing tree and maybe youll get one too kid. Just not on Holidays and weekends..cause Ill be there then. thumbup

Or you could climb right up next to me, cause it seems you sure want to.

Ive been good at helping young men like you get their first buck...Ill help you calm down and coach you through the shot and all.

I know young guys like you get all tore up when ya see a spike. Ill get you over your buck fever.

Heck buddy, Im just busting your balls.

I dont hunt anywhere near that.

Dang, look below my name. Trinity is in North Alabama.

Im not 73 either and everyone here know that too.

And for the record I dont have a bum leg, dentures or a bad prostate! shocked

Just had to tease you a little to welcome you to the site!

Gotta have thick skin on here for sure, as there are some real jokers on board.

Welcome to the site,..and yea go down there and hunt. It aint my spot! grin

Oh, but those bucks REALLY are mine. That parts true. thumbup

Again, welcome to the site and happy thanksgiving.

And that Rend Lake area i used to driveby and through going to an Illinois lease. Id see some good bucks chasing and hit by cars around there.

Looked like a real nice place to go.

Id recommend Randolph County Archery only area with a campsite just North of Chester, IL. if youre a bow hunter.

Big area where no firearms definitely leads to some big ole bucks. We shot a 200 incher near there ( It came off there onto my lease which bordered it.)

They have a bunch of campsites with electric, water, bathrooms with showers, etc for like $15 a night if you camp.

Heres a link. I camped there when I was at my lease and was always shocked at how few people hunted it. Youll need a deer cart, no ATVs allowed. But good roads and cornfields, soybeans:

I keep my kill stand, kill tree inside the sanctuary in the low fence area inside the high fence. I ride my 4 wheel drive electric cart right to the tree. sweet. I am sure I will see a buck there one day.

Keep after 'em Outdoor. My dad is 73 and the most enjoyment I get during deer season now is seeing him still get excited about going to camp every weekend. I do for him now WHAT HE DID FOR ME-
pick a likely spot that is easy to access and put a ladder with a shooting rail there for him to hunt. I hope I am going like you guys are when I get your age.
