Ain't seen a thing at either of the 2 propertys that I've hunted this year. Only been 3 times or so though.

I'll be hunting a different property this weekend. It borders a refuge and it just so happens that the refuge is open to bowhunting this weekend. I have no clue if that will help or hurt me. At the very least, I hope people coming in and out of the refuge will push deer onto me.

I been itching to get a kill.

About to head out this afternoon. Good wind for a couple of different sets that I like. Not sure where I'm going yet.

Yall getting after em this weekend? Smoke pole starts in TN this weekend, and I've got a couple good ones on camera that I hope make a mistake.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

I'm hunting the refuge bow hunt tomorrow. I'll be taking a shot at anything without spots if given the chance. Haven't even had a shot oppurtunity yet. Good luck to ya'll

Full moon and hot temps didn't do me any favors this weekend. Skunked both mornings and seen 7 yesterday afternoon. Nothing worth shooting. Probably should've got my doe out of the way but really didn't feel like having to quarter one up last night. Need it to cool down so I can leave em gutted and hanging.

Got that right, I shot my rifle a few times Sunday morning with plans to bow hunt that evening and ended up not going because it was so dang hot and windy.

Couldn't hunt this weekend due to work, but was able to scout out a few areas on my wifes family land that I haven't hunted yet. Looking forward to gun season opening.

Any of ya'll hit the woods this weekend?

I checked a couple cameras and moved a couple of stands. Looking forward to breaking out the 270.

Me and my little boy snuck in and set up a ground blind in a pretty promising spot at lunch. Pretty excited about it.

They were definitely in the peanut fields this afternoon. Had a group of about 15 in one corner of the field with two good looking bucks in it, but when you're on the wrong end of a 90 acre field there ain't much you can do but watch.

I saw around 15 deer yesterday. Nothing to shoot though. Today wasn't very productive. I'm still trying to figure this property out.

Happy Thanksgivings to all you fellas. Don’t know any of you personally but glad to know you through this forum. Y’all have a great holiday and stay safe if y’all hit the woods. I’ll be heading up to the farm in TN Friday afternoon for a couple days. They should be chasing wide open right now. Normally I’d be on the lake chasing worthless ducks, but gonna let the zoo settle down before I chase after em this year.

Same here, hope you all have a blessed thanksgiving. Wife is wanting meat for the freezer and also asking me why I spent money on an electric hoist to upgrade the skinning rack if I don't intend to use it so I will probably drop a Nannie tomorrow or Friday.

I'll be hunting most of the day tomorrow. May come out for lunch and go right back in. May just pack a lunch in my bag. I plan to get as centered up in the 900 acres that I'll be hunting and lick my wounds from this Ball game tonight. cry

Congrats to the Auburn fans on our Team. Now lets get some deer kilt!
