I didn’t see anything. This was my 2nd morning to hunt the cutover and I haven’t seen a deer. Today after I got down I walked the firebreak between the big timber and the cutover and found a heavily used trail coming in/out of the cut and 4 scrapes. The sign was fresh and I couldn’t see the scrapes or trail from where I climbed his morning. I marked a different tree to climb and I’m gonna Give it another shot in the morning.

Settled in a block of woods this afternoon didn’t get to climb as high as I wanted to because the tree has a wobble in it around 15 Foot so that’s where I stopped. The wind is in my face and I’m looking into a thicket with a pasture behind me that’s got a lot of green groceries in it.
The secret to a long marriage is to keep on dating, just as you did before marriage. We have "date night" once a week.
Hers is Saturday, mine is Thursday.
The only time a married woman gives those is if your not married to them!

Set up in a saddle. Its a nice patch of woods with fields on the east and west and bluffs running both of the other sides. Its the easiest place for deer to get up, down or across the moutain.
Unfortunatly 3 ppl just buzzed through..hoping they didnt cut me off from the downhill side.
