Hunting Bankhead National Forest this morning. I’m set up on a logging road leading into a true pine/hardwood thicket. I got snorted at early this morning. I climbed to dang high and it’s going to make for a very small target. Good luck everyone.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

Well my day started off kinda bad, headed out to my lock on and in doing so I have to pass by one of my food plots. Somebody drove through my food plot and tore part of it up.

Well that’s good I went ahead and got down at 9, I’ve got to rake two of my small plots and move a couple of trees and limbs from the storm Saturday.

Moon phase and that storm system shook them up a little and they changed to the better. Still no afternoon movement, but I will take it.

Passed a tall 3 point at 10 yards on wheeler around 8 am this morning. 8 am seems to be the magic time for me to see all my deer this year

Hunting Bankhead National Forest this afternoon. I’m on side of a hardwood ridge where I can shoot the bottom to. These deer are digging for white oaks and it’s a good funnel for chasing to happen. I’m stuck out like a sore thumb, but I will be able to hear them coming way before they get here. Nobody is seeing anything in the afternoon out here, but all it takes is one hot doe. hope you smash one. Bankhead has not been too friendly to me this season. I've only saw 1 doe out there this year.
