I hunted 3 days in KY and saw 3 of the 4 good bucks we have on camera. Either too far, too dark, or downwind busted. Saw the biggest one twice. Would’ve been a dead arse with rifle. Hope to go back down on Wednesday to settle the score

Condrats on the buck. Not doing much hunting with this rice cutting. Once I finish I will have more time. Gonna bring the kids to the camp next Sunday and hunt till the following Saturday. Hopefully I can find
Some deer up there.

I hunted all day friday and didn't see a deer until 4 that afternoon, got to my property and had people hunting all over it that weren't supposed to be there.found 4 stands within the first 45 mins of looking for a spot to hang my climber. ended up seeing 7 bucks between 4 and dark on friday and passed the biggest buck I've ever had the opportunity to kill with my bow but I know he wasn't any older than 3. swapped properties only to find 2 more people hunting it out of a blind when I got there. once they left I ended up just sitting on the ground between two blocks of timber and a 12-15 acre soybean field. once the rifles started going off the deer started scrambling. HAd three does come out in front of me and cross at about 20 yards, a few seconds later the buck I shot stepped out 5 yards to my left, grunted and started to trot towards the does. I instantly knew I was going to shoot him because of how big his body was, I got him to stop at about 12 steps from me and I dropped the hammer on him with the 270 ( I know I should have had my bow ). he isn't a trohpy racked buck but he's my first out of state deer and I know he was mature so I'm happy with him

Awesome hunt! Congrats! Were all those people trespassers on the land you hunt? I would've been so pissed I couldn't hunt.

It’s starting to get better around my parts. I’ve passed six bucks since Saturday. I just hope the right one will walk by me soon! It’s been a grind for me this year.

i wouldn't call them trespassers bc they were family that just weren't told they couldn't hunt and they took it upon themselves to hunt it like they owned it

I’ve been hunting, but not seeing much at all. Very unusual year so far. I rarely go hunting and not see deer. It’s happened 6-7 times this year.

I've been hunting a lot and seeing lots of deer. Just not the "right" bucks...I let a decent 3 year old 8 point walk yesterday afternoon that I would normally shoot. I've got 3 big bucks (120" or bigger) on camera, so I'm trying to hold out for one of them

HOLY CHIT!!!! Congrats on such a fine animal. I love those big 10s. We got back from a week long trip to the camp. We saw a few deer but was overall pretty slow. My son shot a doe and was sure he hit her and I couldn't find any blood so we backed out and went back the next morning and sure nuff he mane a good shot. Deer was dead about 80 yds from plot. BUT the coyotes found her before us and just tore that thing up. I was pretty angry with myself as we walked within 20yds of that deer the night before. She was in between 2 of the beds the trees are planted on and just didn't see her. My daughter and I never saw a deer while we were hunting. We still had an awesome time and they are ready for Christmas vacation so we could go back.

Heck of a deer man! Congrats bud. I’ve been hunting my butt off. I’ve passed 16 bucks the past three weeks. On my normal farm my main shooter broke his whole right side off last week. So now I’m leaving that farm alone until next year and hunting a new piece of property i just got this year. Rut is about three weeks out. Hopefully i can put something together soon!
