Same story that gets shared every year, I have one small tract of land I hunt that has some studs on it, but they only show up at night. I don't want to over pressure it, blah blah blah, but when should I hunt? This isn't one of those "how do I make a nocturnal buck come out in daylight" posts. Do you just hunt it, not worry about it, and hope they randomly come out before sundown?

I'd wait for The rut, if you know they are there

I have the same type scenario you mentioned except I have overpressured it.
Have some good deer on camera still during the day actually, but it’s very inconsistent. I think I’m going to wait until after Christmas to go back. It’s hard to stay out of there though knowing what I have seen on camera.
I’m strictly hunting antlers now though. First time I could ever say that lol.

I have the same situation at my grandmas place. Tons of deer and I know some studs frequent it, but I don't want to over pressure it. They rut at her place around the first of the year... My plan is to wait for that perfect day/days and hunt daylight to dark.

I started to hunt it yesterday but I really hate to hunt evenings up there and not be up a tree by lunch.. Ill wait till conditions are pefect

I can't stand hunting the rut on small acreage. Not real crazy about it on any size tract, actually. It's too much luck involved and not much skill. From the opening of bow season until the searching phase starts is the best time to kill a good buck. Usually, around the first couple of weeks of November has been best for me. In my experience, hunting a property and putting pressure on it is two different things. I hunt a property a lot and keep seeing the same activity. If I scare deer from my stands(pressure), then I change their movements.

This is just what has worked for me over the years. YMMV
