All these open and potentially open coaching jobs and Lane Kiffin is not mentioned in one of them.

Surely to goodness with the job he's done this year at Florida Atlantic he's got to be on some folk's lists..

I guess most schools are concerned he will just use whatever job he gets as a stepping stone to another potentially better job.

One good year isn't going to translate into a bigger school taking a chance on him after all the train wrecks and co-eds he left behind at his other head coaching jobs.

If love to see him at Ole Miss. Plenty of coeds there for him too. I don't know that he'd leave FAU for that job though

FAU has more wins this season than FSU and UF combined.

Lane said he isn't going anywhere this past Thursday. Almost his entire team is back next year. If he has a strong finish this year and next, he'll get his shot at another major university.

His brother is half the reason the NCAA is still in Oxford. I don’t know if they want another Kiffin in Mississippi

I really hope Ole Miss gets a great coach and does well! Beautiful campus, coeds are great, the grove is a great pre game experience. Lane would be a great coach but he is a loose cannon, Never know what he’s going to say or do. Ole Miss needs better stability.

Lane had a team full of misfits and second chance players this year. Not a long term group, but another good year and he will probably get a good coaching opportunity.

He would be a perfect fit at Florida.

He ain't going far from boats and hoes.

He would have them in the sec title game in 3 years

I’m not sure why people hate him so much? The man is an offensive genius. He done well at TN and I really don’t know how anyone can fault him for leaving TN to go to USC where you have some of the best recruiting period and to be able to coach at school like USC.

Cause the man lacks character and is a 40-year-old teenager.

Nothing like looking at the potential of being un-employed to quickly age and mature someone. He was gone from AL this year regardless of his situation and he lucked out that the "Saban Coach's Rehab Program" and good timing got him the head job at FAU. Maybe, just maybe, he's learned his lesson. Time will tell.

Kiffin signed 30 players in 2011, and 16 in 2012. So, 46 players over those two years. He signed only 12 in 2013, but 5 of those were 5* guys on Rivals. Even so, they were true freshman on the team he was fired from. He was fired after the 5th game in 2013, so I would argue that he really didn't feel the effect of USC's sanctions that much. Sark's first year and a half and Helton finishing the 2015 season felt the effect of the sanctions much worse than Kiffin ever did.
