We have a coon problem and want to help the turkeys out come the spring...what is a cheap but very effective coon trap? Thanks yall

You have to have a name tag. You can buy tags from a trapping supply company and make your own tags.

You do have to carry a catch pole but you don't need a firearm. There are plenty of ways to dispatch without one. If you do use a firearm it has to be .22 or smaller. Thank you, Charlie. I stand corrected. The regulation says if dispatching with a firearm, the firearm must be a .22 or smaller rimfire. I had been told you had to have such a weapon in possession, regardless of how the animal was dispatched. That is not what the regulation says.
