When I was a kid, my camo had to be perfect. Matching pants, shirt, hat.
I love being an old man.
I got on 5 different patterns this morning - RealTree hat, break up vest, Max 1 shirt, Bottomland pants, RealTree Brown gloves.
(Can you tell it’s a slow morning where I am?)

Same way here. Now I'm usually in Carhartt pants and a long sleeve Carhartt t-shirt. Most the time I just got off work so I have a company work shirt on over that.

All of my camo is mismatch from the clearance sections of different stores or pieces I have purchased from members on here. Both boys gear is also the same way. As long as we can stay warm I don't care if it matches or not.

The secret to a long marriage is to keep on dating, just as you did before marriage. We have "date night" once a week.
Hers is Saturday, mine is Thursday.

The only time a married woman gives those is if your not married to them!

I don't think I have ever had matching camo and probably won't.

The only matching camo i've ever had is one set of ole tom bottomland my wife bought me a few years ago. As a kid my mix/match was hand-me-downs. Now its on sale or thrift store stuff.

I think mixing upper and lower and hat, etc. camo helps to break up your pattern/silhouette more.

So that is what I have been doing for many years.

Heck I quit buying box store camo several years ago as most of it is too dark and you look like a dark blob at distance. I prefer outfitters camo or some variation. Even have a couple pieces of Drake “old school “ camo.

A lot of times I’m in camo pants and a north face fleece.

I guess I have always been that way. Even as a teenager, I wore what was comfortable, not what matched. Used to drive my mom crazy.
