Hey, I hope I can do what you just did, that's buy a new truck. I have an '06 Z71 with 230K miles and it is on it's last leg. Lifters clicking very badly. But it has been a great truck. Drove it off the lot with 300 miles on it.
Congrats on your new purchase, and enjoyed the story. Replace the o-ring on your oil pump and keep driving.

Congrats on your new purchase, and enjoyed the story. Replace the o-ring on your oil pump and keep driving. Or run a can of Seafoam through it....run it couple 100 miles...change oil and do it again. Helped my 04 GMC. Oil pressure was on the low end. After Seafoaming twice, my oil pressure came up to normal pressures.
