A lot of guys on range at Skyline are shooters, not hunters. I came out from turkey hunting one morning and there were some guys practicing 3-Gun there.
I guess theoretically, other than the aggravation, they help us. They supposed to have some kind of license to use the range.

Unless you are hunting right near the range the deer arent going to be affected. Im sure people shoot there everyday. Gunfire is just another day to them.
Now having to sit there and listen to it for hours is a different problem. x2 This biggest buck I've ever seen at Barbour came out of range drive just after dark a couple of years ago.

If you hunt near a shooting range expect shots to be fired or dont hunt there and its not like the shooting range just opened. Just saying

Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Heck, at Hurricane Creek I once had a couple of deer walk out onto the range while I was letting my barrel cool down. I'd probably already shot a dozen or so rounds before they showed up.
Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.
Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.
Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Go spend an afternoon down there and see if you don't think the same way. It's trashed everything benches tables bathrooms etc are all shot to hell. I know it doesn't bother the deer a bit but it's aggravating as all hell to listen to it.

I have a neighbor who likes to shoot Tannerite. I hate loud unexpected booms.

I have my own range and it joins my little 1/2 acre food plot. Last week I shot 3 muzzle loaders over about a 2 hour span and when I went down to pull the target there was a doe and 2 little one on the plot about 15 yards from the target. I wasn't expecting it and they spooked me about as bad as I did them.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I've seen deer bedded being the back stop at swan creek range. I guess not much foot traffic back there. Some guy parked at the edge of the 100 yd range at Swan Creek and proceeded to mosey down the edge of the range with his bow and tree stand Thursday morning. Was that you Ryano?  I wish Swan Creek stayed open year-round but I guess ducks (or duck hunters) are more sensitive to folks target practicing.

I was shooting my 308 before I went on elk hunt in Oct. after 12 shots at my farm 4 big does and babies eased in front of target stand and me. The shots bother you way more than the deer
