If Bama loses the iron bowl there will be folks talking out of both sides of their mouth. Bama was #2 because FSU sucks. Georgia was #1 because they beat the Catholics who then lost bad to the Thugs, who havent really beat anybody. Then Auburn beats Georgia who really wasnt who we thought they were. Theyll say anything to keep a 1 loss Bama team out of the CFP.

Maybe I'm ignorant but I still don't see AU getting in even if they win out. A 2 loss team should not be in championship IMO. I know it would be awfully impressive to beat 2 #1 teams in the last 3 games of the season, then beat GA again, BUT they still have 2 losses.

I hope it doesn't come to that...But if it does, I don't see Bama getting in unless some of these other teams lose along the way and the committee has no other choice. Agreed. If Bama loses to AU, you can hang it up. Theyll be in the bowl for the next best team in the SEC. The Tigers have come on strong enough at the end that theyll be in the playoffs if they beat Bama and Georgia.
