When did the hyacin explosion occur. Went today to fish a little ABA solo. Everything that used to be beautiful grass or matt is now floating hyacin. The stuff is everywhere. Have not been on the lake in several years, was surprised.

I was out there today also... not in a tournament, just fishing... it was my first time ever fishing Bankhead and you are right, that stuff was everywhere.. There were huge chunks floating in the middle of the river.

Hyacinth, I'm guessing?

That stuff will sure choke out lots of water.

Alabama River is way worse, but there is a lot on the Warrior now.
