I have been fishing the Decatur flats area with live shad and having a ball. I have caught several 4-5 lb small mouth and one 6 lb smallie. I also caught a 6 lb spot as well as several 4 1/2 plus spots. I had a 3 hour trip with 30 plus fish. Hope the shad stay up where i can catch them.Will post some pictures when I figure out how. I know a lot of people like that lake but I hate it. Or it hates me. I have never had a day where something didn't go horribly wrong. Lol I got a buddy that says the same thing about Pickwick. I told him I wanted to take a trip up there and he said as long as it was my boat!
