I crawled out of bed this morning for a pre church hunt. I’m on a secluded GF on public land surrounded by thinned pines with a cutover to my south. Good luck!

I'm up a red oak surrounded by several white oaks.It's raining on/off here.I need to see something soon to stick It out.

Just sent the Rage flying. Only problem is I shot him for 40 and he was 48. Arrow went just under him!! I ranged a mound of dirt at 39. He was a bit further behind it than I thought.

11th bow hunt of the year & ive seen exactly 0 deer so far. New club for me, lots of sign as well as pics, just can’t seem to put the pieces together so far. I’m certainly thankful to be healthy and able to get out here and spend time in the woods no matter the results.

I've seen less deer this year than ever. I know they're here because game cameras don't lie. Most of my pics are still at night. One problem I may have is that I have a flock of about 50 turkeys that stay in these hardwoods all day long. I really should say that's a good problem!!

Did a mid day hunt since it was overcast. Ran a group off walking in. Same group I ran off decided to come check out what the noise was when I climbed my tree. Mamma doe with two little ones got to about 5 yards before she caught my silhouette. No shot, they didn't give me time to clip a few limbs.

Just got set up. I didn’t break away as fast as I had planned. In a creek bottom. Maybe something will come by. I want to shoot a 12 point but I hope that pig I been seeing in this area comes by.

Did not see squat. Really surprised. Guy a few hundred yards from me missed a pig.

Went to a spot that I haven't been and passed on going to a spot that had some good bucks on camera. Well just my luck when I'm walking out there stands the three bucks looking at me. Go figure
