And thanks to the bubble gut we were 20 minutes late. Bumped a doe the 8 we are after and another deer 250 yds from the field. Get to the field and there's two big does 20yds from the shooting house staring at us and several more behind them. Not the start I was hoping for.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Yea they came back and stood behind the shooting house blowing for several minutes. Ain't seen nothing since.

1st year ive missed in 5 but had to work ( and tomorrow). But my kid will be in the woods sometime this weekend by gosh !

Well this is intense. Got a nice 6pt that bedded down about 150 yards in front of us in the cutover. Wes couldnt get the gun on him in time when we first saw him.

LOL years ago, I took my daughter hunting & she asked me, "what sound does a deer make?" & I said, "The sound of a gnat pissing on cotton!" & right at that time, a 6pt ran right in front of her & she stared right over the TOP OF THE SCOPE!!! LOL we still get a good laugh about that ...
