Back around new years, one of the overflow pipes on a farm pond started leaking bad. After it drained all the way down, I was able to fix the leak and it has been slowly filling back up with rains. The overflow creek goes down to a small creek 300-400 yards away, and after the initial draining there was a lot of dead fish in the now dry overflow creek. There was one pool of water left where a fence runs through, and I found some otter tracks going through this pinch point. I set a 330 there last week, and had no activity until this morning when I find a 34# beaver waiting on me. What she was doing 200 yards up a dry creek bed heading to a pond I have no idea, but it is part of the game that is so fun. Also had another possum in a dp.
