Great scope, but waaaaay too much for a muzzle loader unless it's one of those 500 yard jobs.

BDC probably won't be worth a crap on a muzzle loader. It won't match up right. I would go for Duplex and find your point blank zero rang (+ or - 3"). That would be all you need on a muzzle loader and 90% of most hunting rifles.

For instance my 25-06 is sighted in at 1.75 inches high at a 100 and only drops 3" at 300 and 7" at 400. So I can shoot relatively quickly and accurately out to 400 with little thought.

I’ll be the naysayer. Have never been that impressed with crossfires or diamondbacks for light transmission and haven't had the need for the warranty so no experience. The lower ends are comparable to Tasco World Class imo.

Had a viper and it was a good scope for the money but traded it for a much better conquest.

Don’t want to pay the asking for the razor but hear they’re good glass.

I have a diamondback sitting in its box ready to ship back. I had it on a 300 mag and would not hold zero. May be fine for a smaller caliber tho.

Just "Vortex" doesn't really mean anything since they are made all around the globe at all different price points. About the same as any other scope of the same price point.

Don't want any of them.

Got one I just put on my 45/70. I like it so far. But I haven't hunted with it yet. Wish the reticles we're a little heavier. But we shall see. Got it from Cabela's for $149 shipped.
