I almost went back to sleep several times..... BUT I’m just too stubborn. I just got settled in my public land spot. Im hunting fresh sign on some white oaks 100 yards from a pine thicket. I’m just trying to cool off now! Good luck

Can't see anything in the fog in Madison county. I'm here anyways, I think something will move when the rain eases up.

Didn't see anything yesterday afternoon but I'm back in the same spot. Got in in the dark and rain. Rain stopped and the sun came up and I'm fairly cool. I think the rain helped

Set up over looking a greenfield that has some persimmon trees around it. Not where I wanted to come but the rain made me stay close to the truck. Stupid turkeys gobbling they head off.

Tiring in the light rain this morning. Got my dad out here on the food plot and I'm in the woods. Feels like the deer should move right after the rain

Just had a momma and two fawns come by at 10yds working theses white oaks on their way back to bed. Sitting a hardwood funnel feeding into a bedding area along the flint river. Looking to stock the freezer but there is a 3.5yro 10pt that's been in this area this week. Wouldn't mind letting one fly through him.

Up on a big hilltop in TN with the smoke pole this morning. Damn fog is thick.

With work I still haven't got to go. My brother went to go with his son to an old spot we used to go on Wheeler but he said there was a hunting party there. 6 people on about 60 acres, 4 by boat and 2 walking in. Needless to say he went somewhere else

Too warm for me this morning. I'm going this afternoon to get out of going to a wedding shower. I don't understand how women can come up with so much to do on the weekends during hunting season

Hunted Black Warrior WMA again this morning. Just got back to truck. No deer just squirrels and horse riders all over the trails and gravel roads.

May not have killed anything, but always a good time

I'm set up on a hard wood ridge between our 2 biggest plots with a lot of white oaks dropping in bow range. Wind is suspect but we will see

Couldn’t take it, so I’m here. Set up under a white oak with lots of sign. Had a camera on this tree for quite some time and just checked it, lots of does coming in at 6 every evening. Maybe they’ll keep that pattern up and the wind stays good to me!

No luck today from the stand, but I did bump two groups of deer on the loooong walk out. I walked in 560 yards to a flat that had hardwoods on it. Never saw a thing. I’m wore slap out. Gonna give it another go tomorrow.

Had a momma and two babies come by this morning within spitting distance. Climbed 3/4mile further down this river this afternoon. Had two nanners skirt me at 35yds about 20min ago with no shot. Waiting on some more action.

Set up in the swamps of S La. Miserable hot and skeeters and coons are terrible. Haven't hunted this spot this year so I'm gonna give a try. Good luck everybody!! Counting the days till I get back to bama

back this afternoon trying this spot. I ran some deer off getting here and there's a ton of tracks. I'm hoping one will a case of the stupids and come in during daylight but with this moon and heat I don't think so.

Been in the stand all day in Kentucky. I've seen a spike and two does so far, but nothing since about 9:30am. Maybe they will move before dark

Dawn to dusk, 10,000 white oak acorns fell all around me,squirrels, 2 hens, and an unidentified creature that jumped into the creek and then back out. I could see it moving slowly but couldn't tell what it was.

Oh yeah, pretty sure I jumped a buck walking in 'cause I heard it cross the creek just up ahead of me and pretty sure I jumped him again coming out. I'd say he had me patterned but that's the first time I've hunted anywhere near there this year.
