Anyone have any load data to replicate the factory .308 federal GMMK load ive been shooting 175 and 168 grain sierra MK BTHP but i want to try to come as close as i can to the match loads using 168 grain gamekings since im sighted to that and know how they perform out to 500 yards. I wish they made 175 gamekings

I'm not sure if it's true but someone once told me the match loads use 4064 powder.

Varget,4064 will get you close but Federal uses noncanister powder.Least that's what i hear and no one really knows what or where it comes from.
Only hits count.

I have a few recipe's for you to try.
1 - 44.5 grains of CFE 223 powder, 2530 fps.
2 - 43.0 grains of IMR 4895 powder, 2600 fps.
3 - 44.5 grains of BLC-2 powder, 2583 fps.
#2&3 shoot well in my 308.
