I have a 43 and a 19. Carry both. The 43 is easily concealed regardless of what your wearing. Only downside IMO is 6+1.

It's likely more than enough since we've fought wars with less. With everything that happens everyday in these times though I've about decided to always carry the 19.

Good Lord willing, I will own a 43 by this time tomorrow.

We'll call you "deep pockets" from now on. No way I could carry my 43 in a front pocket. I mean I could, but I could also carry a full sized 1911 in my front pocket if I wore clothes with pockets big enough. I carry it in every pair of pants or shorts I own. Dress pants, jeans, carhartts, any shorts...hell I've even worn it in the front cargo pocket of swim trucks before. No specialized pockets required

Mrs. Geno's g26 is just a little too heavy and thick for me to be comfortable with in a pocket. I carried a sig p290rs for a few months until she got her hands on it - it now lives in her purse.
I have an old beretta 950bs .25 in my pocket most days. After I finally held and played with one, I am in the market for a sig p938 - I will own one when I run across the right deal and it will be my pocket carry then.

I own a Shield 9mm and in the summer heat I often carry it in the front pocket of some Academy shorts. In fact, that is where is was today for 9 hours.
Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.
Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.
Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

I like a 1911, I carry a Colt Defender in 45 ACP with Wilson Mags in a king tuck holster. It's a personal preference, what ever you can shoot accurately and you are comfortable with. Just remember to become familiar with your firearm and practice regularly to maintain your proficiency.

I owned and sold the 43. It's fine, but I shot it side/side with my kahr and the kahr was smoother and had less "jump". I'd go G26 if your stuck on glock or kahr if you want a single stack. Might take a look at the sig290rs. THIS, is a good problem to have... Lots of good pistols out there nowadays.
