Finally got around to dying and waxing my traps today. Got finished with all the mb550s except for a few I have loaned out. I also threw some spray paint on some of my DPs to see how that works. [img:center][/img]





I still haven't added retrieval cables to my chain stakes. How long do y'all make them? I'm assuming an inch or 2 shorter than the stakes

They look good. It's funny the scents a trapper grows accustomed to and even begins to appreciate. I hope I'm going to have more time this year to run some lines

My cables are a little longer than the end of the chain connected to the spring.

I usually just double the cable back and stick it in the hole going to the super stake ends, until the bend of the cable is level with the bottom of the hole.
