I so happy the thermal work is over for the year. I can now get some sleep on weekends! Going to try and do a weekend or two of smallmouth fishing up on the TN river and then get serious on some deer when gun season comes in.
Of course, I will still be hammering hogs at the hunting club whenever I can.
This year I took off two full weekends. I have some many folks tell me that I have the perfect business. Go 8 months with about 4 days off and see what you think then! LOL
Thanks to all that helped and supported Alabama Hog Control this year!
I will still be selling traps and thermals so I am not completely out of the game!

Poor thing! There are definitely worse occupations than doing a little pig hunting.  And it's not really work if you enjoy it. Congrats on another great year.

Poor thing! There are definitely worse occupations than doing a little pig hunting. And it's not really work if you enjoy it. Congrats on another great year. His work generally consists of driving his truck all night from dust till dawn on your regular hunting club roads with just the little yellow marker lights on and waiting for someone to tap on the roof, then getting out, doing a stalk, and loading a bunch of nasty ass hogs in the truck and also dress hogs on the tailgate for clients who want meat. Then in the morning he has to coordinate getting rid of the hogs and cleaning the truck to get ready for the next nights clients. All while entertaining clients. Its not an easy job. I usually bust Barrys balls but his job is not easy and he is damn good at it.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??
