This oak tree is on the edge of our camp house property. I never paid attention to it until I saw the acorn today. Can I get some help identifying it?

It's a white oak or....

Possibly a Durand oak or white oak/other white oak type hybrid. Those acorns look white oak and the leaves are typical of those found on lower branches.

White Oak. Noticeable the rounded edges of the leaves and large size of the acorns.

Scaley bark, white oak. Did you bother to open the acorn? If its pale yellow and not orange is all you need to know.
