Fayette is no where near Ardmore.

It's two different deer...According to FB, the deer pictured above was killed near Ardmore yesterday.

A big, mainframe 10 point (with a big droptine) was killed yesterday in Fayette as well.

You know a name? My wife has a bunch of relatives that live just west of Ardmore near the welcome center. Some of them hunt. Not many deer in that area but a chance at a full grown un.

No disrespect ... but You have no idea what you are talking about. Have lived and hunted in the area for 41 years. Have hunted deer from one side of this country to the other and in regards to deer numbers Either side of I65 along the tn al state has high a deer density as anywhere in the country. You can look at a government sponsored deer density map all you want but that map don't mean crap. It's nothing more that a guesstimate. The area you are referring to is way over 45 deer per square mile and I would bet it's at least 60 deer per square mile maybe higher.

Yeah you right. No need to argue I'm just in one of those moods. Only a couple of deer up here on the state line and they are both HUGE! Lots of open permit hunting around that area to try and get those couple bucks killed. If there ain't purple paint on the property lines y'all can hunt it.

I know what's over there, like I've said earlier, wife has relatives who live and hunt over there. I've been going to the Ardmore area over 35 years and have hunted there a few times myself. I know if I hunted over there, I wouldn't be bragging about massive deer numbers on the interweb, MOF, I wouldn't if I didn't hunt there either. No disrespect. smirk
