I recently came across a Abolt micro medallion chambered in 257 rob. Ive always admired this caliber with that said this rifle is 95% condition one minor scuff on butt stock that could possibly be buffed out. Anyone have any idea on the price range? Having a hard time coming up with anything on it

I don't know anything about the caliber but those little rifles are great.

Myself personally would not spend over $600 on it.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

A value may be hard to determine. I think that line was discontinued. I have one in .308 that was given to me in 1994. Due to the unique size, I doubt you’re going to be able to find an aftermarket stock for it unless it is custom made. I called Hill Country Rifles in Texas about having mine accurized and they weren’t aware of anyone making a stock that would fit it. I really like mine, but it does not have tack driving accuracy with factory loads. That’s why I’m looking to have some work done to it.

The 257 Roberts is a fine round. From what I have seen, they kinda have a cult following and prices are typically kinda high. If you don't mind divulging, what are they asking?

I was thinking the same thing. I’d kinda like to have it

That would be a FINE little rifle, but there is no way I would pay that either. $600 should be about max on it.

$600 is about right; that includes a slight premium for the caliber. The right person wanting a .257 Bob might pay a bit more; but you got to find the right person.
Have had a couple of .257 Bob's, a really nice 95% 1953 Rem 722(wish I had it back) and a Model 700 Classic. Sold the Classic for $800; found the right guy.
Most people that like the caliber reload.

Yes this is typically a handloader's gun. There are only five factory ammo offerings last I checked and most of these suck.

I once had a Bob in a Rem 760 pump rifle. Only one I've ever seen. Killed the snot out of deer but the forend was rattly and noisey as all hail.

I have that rifle In 243 and it's nice and mine is a tack driver with factory Winchester 100gran soft points. I had a 3 shot group my wife shot at 100 yards with this rifle of of sandbags that measured an honest .242 with factory ammo. Granted it typically shoots .750 groups which is more than sufficient for what I use the rifle for. The 257 would be nice but I wouldn't pay a fine over $600.
