That’s just rude of him interrupting your mom’s peaceful Friday mornings. He needs to be dealt with.

My 13 y/o is ready to deal with him. He killed one there last spring, now he's hooked. Says he likes hunting turkeys and ducks.

Maybe he'll change his mind if he kills a buck this fall.

My club is in Talladega county and we hear them gobbling in October and really anytime of year, just not very often. My son heard one last week. Usually a field full of hens that are very vocal will illicit a gobble.

wife and I got out of the truck one morning just at first light in early October to scout deer. As I walked along I thought I heard a gobble, stopped and listened, heard another. As I walked along I counted gobbles. We finally eased over within calling range and I called with my natural voice. Crazy bird came straight to us, ended up gobbling just over 100 times. We hunted there in April and never heard a bird.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Had this happen to me last year the week before Christmas. Heard 2 birds gobble over 50 times. I couldn't see them but my buddy was in the field with them letting me know what was happening.

They gobble year round at our place in Springville. No one hunts them there. They wander through the yard with us sitting on the porch or deck as long as we're mostly still.
