War Eagle fellas! Haven't deer hunted in a couple weeks, and decided to duck hunt Saturday morning in the clusterf**k known as Gunterville. Won't be fooling with birds again until a little later in the season. Gonna go up the farm in TN this weekend. Deer are rutting and should be good. We had a pretty good one killed last weekend on our place.
Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

I was on call this past weekend and ended up working most of it with no chance to hunt.
I'm gonna start hitting it pretty hard this weekend and I'm burning vacation time from Dec. 22nd to Jan. 9th to hunt- looking forward to that.

Well, I did kill a doe over the weekend.
Sad part is she was gut shot and I never found her.
Followed blood for a pretty long way but couldn't find her. My wife and I searched for hours until it was too dark to go on.
Maybe I will have better luck this weekend.
