Where do you guys hunt at?

Lead slingers, guns a blazin, feathers and fur, firepower is a few names my boy thought was cool. It really doesn't matter to me. I'm Brandon Howell I'll be hunting in Choctaw county in two places. One of my leases is in Ararat and the other is in Bladon Springs. I will also be hunting here around the house in George County MS.

Checking in. Hunt Marengo, Sumter, and Greene counties. I don't care what the name of the team is. Im good with anything.

I am hunting public land around demopolis this year. I didn’t make it this morning. We had too many beverages around the fire last night.

Y'all have any luck? We killed a hog Saturday on my land and was gonna hunt today but the rain rolled in so I sat today out. When I get done cutting my yards I've got scheduled for tomorrow I'm gonna go hit the woods I've got a good eight coming in that I wanna kill.

Went this afternoon and had two good bucks walk up to 20 yards hooked trees and spared a little bit then came in the field at dark but fed away from me. I'm gonna try them again tomorrow.

Went today just does and a bobcat. If I can get wrapped up early enough from cutting my yards I'm gonna try and go some more this week. If not it will be this weekend

indeed I do. My oldest went with me a lot last year mainly to play with his tractors in what he called tree houses. He is starting to get into it more now. If we are watching a hunting show on tv I'll have to set up bar stools for our tree stands and set toy deer on the floor so he can shoot them with his pop gun.

I went this afternoon and saw a few. Haven't seen much so far this year since so many acorns but I am starting to see more deer the last few trips. Going tomorrow with my son to hope kill his first, been saving an area on lease just for him and got a lot of deer moving through during daylight from camera pics.

Hopefully I will see something soon. My 9yo boy killed an 8 point last Friday and then another 8 point last Sunday. Got to get my daughter one now but slipped away by myself this morning.

I hunted all weekend in the snow. I killed two giant pigs and saw a lot of deer just no shooters

Las Monday I made a run to the camp and had two nice bucks come out late in the afternoon but it was super foggy. I could see them good with my eyes but it was hard to see though my scope. I get comfortable with the shot and took it. Went to where the deer was standing and all I found was hair. I walked all over looking for him and couldn't find nothing so I came home. Well my brother went up this morning and found him 50 yards away from where I shot him in some thick stuff. I'm glad he found him but it makes me sick that I didn't find him and wasted the meat.

Been slow for me but the rut started last week here in Madison County and passed up a few bucks so should be good hunting next few weeks.
