C3S, I saw a rod and reel that had dropped in the (West Point, up river) Hooch for a week. It looked like it had been in salt water a month. The water in the hooch is full of chemicals. It had holes in the side plates.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

I'll admit, my views are formulated very heavily by Logan Martin. I don't know anybody who thinks Logan is a better spot fishery now than it was in the recent past. For that matter, I don't catch the same quality spots on Neely that I once did. I seldom get to Lay/Mitchell/Jordan, in fact I didn't fish any of them this whole year.

I fish Logan Martin, Neely Henry, Wedowee, and Guntersville about even. Maybe make a trip to Weiss and Pickwick once each year.

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Not going to happen, but here goes. Moving those fish during tournaments during spawning just bad for population overall. Do away with all tournaments that allow transport of fish period. Too many $$ to allow that, right? You remove the big mama or daddy bass you hurting that local area population for a couple of years possibly. Catch most of the females out there are no eggs. Small females are being eating too, so a 10 pounder may be most likely to survive from predation by monsters blues catfish. No little bass going to keep predator away from bed like a big 10 pound daddy bass. So, actually keeping a big bass may be a problem. Have a bad shad die off or spawn in that area you are depending on local fish other than shad to grow out fish. The small area needs small fish removed, but 1/4 mile other side lake you need more? Kind of like trying to raise a big deer on 100 acres to 6 years old everybody and their brother is hell bent on killing! Just not going to happen! So many factors to grow a 10lb hawg of a bass some we control and some mother nature.
