He'll get another opportunity to coach someday. We all screw up some worse than others. I wish him well with his family and in his future endeavors.

I have no sympathy, it's so easy after the fact to apologize. As the old saying goes "there are no atheists in fox holes" It would have been sincere if he did it prior to getting found out. He's is a extremely high visible position. Did he honestly think no one would find out one way or another? He has distroyed himself, his family and taken down a major university over his selfish actions. Phuck him!

He said in the letter that he had already disclosed to his wife and daughters months earlier. This guy is suppose to be a leader and example of young men. He is at the highest level in coaching in the best conference. Old Miss is in deep chit with NCAA because of Freeze. On top of that, he uses his UM issued phone to call hookers in multiable cities. None of this is small issues, he knew what he was doing and only has himself to blame for the situation he is in. He obviously has major issues and I really hope he can recover. But saying I'm sorry hardly makes up for the path of destruction he has left.

God knows the deepest sins of both you and I. He apologized and asked for forgiveness in his statement. No doubt this has devestated him professionally and personally. He did not have to give a statement at all but did. Would you feel better if he killed himself?

Heck no, I think its the first step in righting this wrong. I just saying I dont feel sorry for him. He has hurt a awful lot of people. Simply saying I'm sorry doesnt right that. I remember Jimmy Swaggert crying on stage yelling "I have sinned against god and you, I'm sorry" 2 months later he's caught with another whore. Simply put, Apologizing is only a first step, right your wrongs, prove its genuine by your actions not words. Until then, he's just another jerk that apologized after he was caught.
