I'd rather eat gas station pizza (Hunt Bro's) anyhow

Shell station couple miles from the house. Sorta spicy chicken livers, small order 10, $3.29, large 20, $5.50. Some of the best I have ever had.

By far Sbarros was the best run, cash only and focused on the product. Papa Johns, probably number 2 on my list. But that was 25+ years ago. I don't eat pizza unless the kids want it these days.

I'm not the biggest fan of pizza these days either and I prefer thin crust.

IMO Post Office Pies is the best in town.

Try The Filling Station in Crestwood.

If you got a Publix near you go to the bakery department and pickup one of those balls of dough and whatever you want on it and make it your self.

This ^^.

I do eat the occasional chain delivery pizza but only because my son's friend works there and he brings the freebies over from time to time. Not very good but we didn't have to make it so I keep my mouth shut.

Sorry, forgot about this. I didn't eat that crap, my kids did. I was on the way home from dove hunting and the wife asked me to pick up pizza. I had already passed Dominos and we only have two other options....Pizza Hut and tortoras, which I like. Tortoras didn't open until 11 and it was 1030, so I went to PH and ordered to go and sat in my truck for 15 minutes trying get on aldeer on their wifi.

Its very simple. Good Pizza comes from a really freakin hot oven and has air blown into the crust. Thin or deep pan pie it doesnt matter.... its about air in the crust and big heat.

If you see the pizza dough go above 6 feet in the air and then go into a 550 degree stone bed oven then it is going to be good pizza.

If the pizza comes out of a freezer and then into a wire roller oven then its basically no better than a microwave biscuit, and the oven may not be hot enough to properly kill nasty bacteria which is why it gives you the sh1ts.
