I really would like to see this changed. Opinions??

BTW I couldn't stand fishing with the lights on, but a lot of times you just have too.
Almost hit an anchored sail boat one night on Wilson. Can't remember if he had the one light atop the mast or not. No cabin lights, nav lights...just about tboned it.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

bama7x57, is that an LED rope light? I had thought about getting a green one to install under the inside of my gunwale so I'd be able to see to tie on jigs, etc... while night fishing. I was thinking maybe red wouldn't attract insects, but that is BRIGHT. Might be too much for what I want.

haleyville al,
All you need inside is a couple of 10 or 12 inch strips. I put a single led in my light on the console. It was more than enough on my blazer. My next lighting will be putting lights in all my compartments. I'm looking forward to that.

ebay LED lights

There are 2 5M strips on my boat. I chose the brighter 5630 lights. We like to cruise the lake at night in the summer. I wanted good visibility. The 3528 may be what you would want.
They come with a weak adhesive tape on the back, I attached mine with silicon.
