Field I was going to hunt had roughly 600 birds last Wednesday. They bushhogged about 5 acres of corn last saturday and hit them with about 500 lb of wheat to make sure they stayed. Buddy sat it Wed morning and again yesterday afternoon and said there were only about 50 birds in it. They called the hunt off last night.

tripreed spike T Joined: Jul 2017 Posts: 12 Birmingham	Hunted the dove field(s) at the Swan Creek WMA on Saturday. Sweated our asses off but saw literally four dove all afternoon. There were four other guys out there dove hunting, plus a couple of rednecks who were blasting every trash bird that flew within 50 yards of them. I was surprised that the dove seemed to have moved on given the lack of any fronts pushing through lately.
