Have any of you tried to mount a Hummingbird transducer using a Lowrance bracket? I ask because the application I want isn't offered by Hummingbird. their customer service is lost. Like girls install depth finders! DUH! They tell you to glue inside hull, but they admit it doesn't work well and the images may not be accurate! Really? I just wondered if any of you had tried to cross breed tranducers and brackets. Thanks

If you're just using down image - through hull actually works pretty good in most instances. Works really well if you're only looking through fiberglass.
Side image doesn't work well through hull although it can be be done.

With aluminum, starboard and epoxy anything is possible.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
