On stands before you move

There's no set number. It All depends. If there are does around, I'll keep it in my back pocket for January. If there's fresh buck sign and I know he's close by, I'll hunt it as many times as it takes. It's all about scouting and hunting spots when the wind is right

2 consecutive days, after that I move. I may be hunting the same area , maybe within sight of the first stand , but I'll make a move.

On chances. What do you mean. Not seeing deer? Seeing deer but not close enough? Not seeing anything at all?

I'll say this, that the majority of bucks on my wall werekilled the first or second sit. Very few came after sit two.

^^^ this. IMO your first time in is the best chance you'll have to kill him especially if it is a close quarters situation.

If it's a long range situation where your stand is 200 yds or more away with good ingress and egress (powerline, gas line, big field, etc) where you can slip in and out completely undetected, then I'll sit it as often as the wind is right til I get the shot.
