What say you? I'm looking at a 14' Honda Foreman with 1300 miles. Appearance wise looks good. But is that a lot of miles? I have a 04' Rancher that only gets about 50 miles a year put on it. So, 1300 seems high to me.

Not real sure. My 04 Rancher has over 5,000 and has never gave me a problem. Bought it new on a Friday. By Monday my daughter had put 34 miles on it and never got out of the yard.

A lot would depend on how it was used. I was in a club a couple years ago that was 33-miles around the outside edge.

I've got a 500 foreman with 3k . It's been rode Hard and put up wet. It's a 2011 ,my son had taken it to boggs n boulders, red Creek and used it for a vehicle all over north Mobile by trail before he turned 16 . Had to replace a few parts from abuse but motor fires up first hit. Just replaced original battery a week ago . In my book if it been taken care of and you continue to do same you may never have to get a new one.

I would say that's definitely NOT a lot of miles. At an average of 10 mph, that's only 130 hours, lightly used. Even if you figure 5mph, still only 260 hrs.

That's way more than I would want on one, if I had to buy a used one.

I will put that on my Honda every 2 week on the farm during the rice season. I put so many miles on a 4 wheeler on the farm, the grass on the roads wear the frame out. I have 2 now that need new frames. Everything works and runs just like the day I bought them. Just the frame is about to break in half. It's more of what was done in those 1300
miles and how much abuse they put it thru. if it's just trail riding or kids riding it you wild be good to go.

Guy is asking $4500. Only thing I don't like about it is Electric shift. I might pass because of that. My Rancher is still a good bike. It's just it sits from Feb until deer season every year. I thought I might go with something with fuel injection. That way I don't have to clean out the carb every other year.

1300 just broke in unless its been abused. I usually put around 2000 miles a year on mine. I know where a rubicon is right now that has around 30,000 miles. Still going strong.

I have a 93 Fourtrax with no telling how many miles and it's a beast. Then again, those early 90s Hondas are unbeatable. Now you'll slip a disk in your back and shatter your teeth going over rocky terrain...but it'll get you there

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan
