Between here[ LAKE TUS ] and northeast Al surely you could find a better place to fish trust me ,Monday morning I caught 5 bass that may go close to 8#, from dark till 10 am , they are busting shad and I had to chase and I have a boat designed just for chasing, went back this morning and did not see a school busting anywhere, covered over half the lake , so if you decide to come on down I would get here at daylight fish top water on flat's till about 7 am and go to large open bodies of water stop and wait till you see them busting shad and head to them ,if your lucky you will catch one or two out of each school

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's a terrible fishing lake. I've fished hundreds of hours out there, never really caught much besides catfish.
There's not a boat to be found on the lake during the week, especially on the south end. Everybody that lives there is hard at work trying to pay down that $1.2 million mortgage.

I love it. I've never been and not caught fish. I love clear water. You just have to learn to fish it. Windy, overcast or rainy days are best.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

My daughter has a tournament there in October. All the reports I've read it's super tough.

haleyville al,
I fished off the bank one time there. Guy was taking out I was taking a bass about a 1lb. He said that was a good one. I have never felt the need to go back. But that was 10 or so years ago. I think it was not long after the fish kill or something like that.
