Do any of y'all have this shotgun? Looked at it the other day and it felt really good. May buy one at the new year. Just reading around first.

I've never know anyone to have one and we do a lot of shotgun shooting with a bunch of different people between doves shoots and squirrel hunting with my dogs. If you've got benelli money then buy and m2 if you want to spend under a 1,000 buy a franchi

We will burn that bridge when we get there

^^^ I went with the SBE2 over the Winchester, i got a pretty good deal at Basspro on mine, they were running a father's day special no taxes on firearms! I probably went through 75 rounds of low brass this weekend without a single hiccup. The franchi is a good gun also....

I've got an SX3 and it will eat anything I put in it from 2 3/4 - 3 1/2. If the only improvement on the SX4 was to do away with the duratouch stock, I wouldn't hesitate on buying one. I like them.

Should be a decent gun. If you can get one for cheap i would snatch it up. If i was buying msrp i would pay a few hundred more and get a benelli or beretta.

The beretta or browning is really what I want. It just depends on the funds.

I'd buy a SX3 over a browning maxus all day long. There are some relatively minor differences that make paying the price differential ridiculous.

My SX3 is a shooter. Several others that I know about are high volume shooters and function as well as a SA shotgun should. Flat rib, low recoil, cycle everything you put in it. What's not to like?

My SBE is my meat gun, but I sometimes wish it would go down so I could shoot my SX3.

If the maxus fits you, you'll never regret the day you buy one! I've had mine for 3 years now and it's hands down the sweetest shooting gun I've ever held.

I was talking about the browning A5, and the beretta A400? but that Winchester has my eye. the only difference I can tell by reading is the stock between the sx4 and sx3 is different. everything else is the same.

There are af few changes on the Sx4 other than the stock. The main turn off to me was the plastic trigger guard. I would go with the sx3 they have a $100 rebate through the end of the month.
