I went back to school as and adult and got my bachelor's there about 5 years ago.

Cummins, I killed many a brain cell in the double branch, and from what I hear it is pretty popular with the college kids these days.
Johnal3, If there was a place called the brass monkey in Troy it was way before my time. We had Tony's, Harvey's, the Front Porch, Cheers, and the double branch back in my day.

Huge brain fart for a second. It was Livingston. Carry on.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

After the Country Kitchen shut down, two sisters opened up "Two Sisters" down 231 South....good country cooking ! Another good spot to try is Half Shell Oyster Bar & Grill right off 231 in TROY.

Claims rep's post got me thinking; how many people here attended or graduated Troy State University? Or TU for the youngins.
Winter 97 graduate here. My Dad played football and graduated there back when they were the Red Waves.
83% of all statistics are made up.

My brother played TE and finished with Willie Tullis. They had a pretty good team that year.

1994 graduate. By the way Crowes chicken has closed down on the by-pass but now has one open back on the north side of town. I was sitting in that Crowes restaurant the day the OJ verdict was announced over the radio. You'd have thought the kitchen crew had won the lottery the way they started cheering.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

BS in Business Adm 1980 and MBA in 1983. Had lots of fun there. PLENTY of good looking women! - I think it was at least 2:1 girls to boys ratio back then. I hung out a lot at the Standard Chemical Co. (Disco in an old fertilizer plant) until it burned, Front Porch, Double Branch and the one on the SW corner of the downtown square (The Step Ahead??). I lived on Pine St across from the old abandoned hospital behind the old Delta Chi house, then Willow Terrace then Wood Dale Apts.
