I've tried about every bullet made in 270. The 140 accubond is the cream of the crop ,imo. It seems the have the very best balance of controlled expansion and weight retention.
If you do go with Barnes, go light for caliber and drive them fast. They like that. Barnes bullets really shine in light fast calibers.

I really see no advantage in a Barnes over a good bonded bullet in the larger calibers unless I wanted to shoot super light fast bullets. The Barnes really shine in 223 and 243 causing these light fast calibers to expand and penetrate rather than explode as they have sometimes had a bad reputation of doing on heavy bone. They might also perform well on really tough game where a larger penetrating bullet would be needed like a Buffalo or such. With a 130-150 270 bullet,I really see no reason to use them on deer sized game unless I thought I was going to shoot every one in the rear and wanted it to exit the chest, and even then a good bonded bullet would do the job and likely perform better on just broad side lung only shots.
