I found one on a lease a few years ago that had been there a couple of years. I can't stand the mesh seats and was thinking about finding a different type seat for it. Anyone ever swapped one?

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I been thinking about one of these for my Summit:

On the distance I like to walk to my stands:

Did it to my old man stand recently. Cut off the mesh, put on a summit replacement seat. Cost about 40 bucks if I remember right and took all of 5 mins to do. Haven't sat in it yet but don't anticipate any issues.

You will have to get a little creative with how you fold it up if you like your stands to be as compact as I do. It's not difficult but you do have to take the back part of the seat and hook it on to the other section.

Hopefully I can give an official review of it in about 3 weeks when blackpowder comes in for the area I plan on hunting here. I'd heard of other folks doing it and after last season, I figured I needed to make a change. Just never could get comfortable with the mesh seat.

I have logged many an hour in the mesh, I may upgrade as well.

I like the mesh seat. It's comfortable and doesn't stay wet near as long as other seats after a rain.
