Check your local laws they're are illegal in several places. I bet. I wish they'd enforce the tinting laws and exhaust laws too. i understand the exaust but why tint laws I believe police safety would be the company line.

Never have this issue. I think must be personal. They look back and see the Florida tags on the front of the Avalanche and they retaliate for all of the hours spent riding behind Left lane drivers going the speed limit You're drunk, go home

On the tint deal.........My F150 had dark tint on the front door windows when I bought it. I don't know how dark they are, but they're dark enough that I have to roll the windows down at night if I'm navigating a tight parking lot, or backing up a trailer or something. I won't go to the trouble or expense to remove/replace it, but no way in hell I'd intentionally go that dark again. I'm just waiting to get pulled over. I'd love to know exactly how dark it is, just for reference.

It's quieter than the '05 I bought this summer that has some form of glass packs or something. I hate the dang tint and would pay to get it removed if it was my truck!
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I was in the checkout line in Academy and some kids drove by the front door and blew the place up. It was LOUD! Startled everyone. Paint me an old fuddy duddy but I've never understood why a damn HUNTER would do this chit to their vehicle ... (not saying the kid is a hunter, but every gun season I'm greeted w/the loudest frackin' racket you've heard in your life ... part of the reason I love bow hunting so much now)... [/rant-over]

Yep, my last truck had an aftermarket exhaust on it, and it sounded good, but was way too loud to be in the woods. I'm loving having one with a stock exhaust now. It's nice to be able to hear the radio without having to crank it all the way up.

Too much loud racket in the world now and not enough regard for peace and quiet. I'd love to go home now and relax without hearing loud horns, loud exhausts, loud neighbors.

You blow a train horn behind me and I'll lock it down right there, then shoot out your damn tires.
